On June 14th, Red Eye, Inc.- an artistic humanitarian ministry based out of the Los Angeles Dream Center- hosted a delectable dinner on the Family Floor of the Dream Center campus. When entering the fourth floor, where 55 people reside, one could hear the sound of children playing and smell the homemade chili, baked chicken and other Mexican dishes being prepared for the fifteen families in attendance.



Hunger was replaced with plates of comida and friendships were formed through the exchange of smiles and colorful sketches.

Before moving into the Dream Center, these families were in impoverished living conditions. Many were homeless and staying in shelters or were on the brink of homelessness. Not only has the Dream Center given families such as these a place to stay, but they have also provided each of the families with all of their basic needs, ranging from food and medical care to toiletries and furnishings.



In addition, the parents have been able to get their GEDs and learn job skills in order to pursue a career and support their children.

Red Eye, Inc. saw the need of these individuals, some of them new residents of the Dream Center, and reached out to them with the love of Jesus Christ. To dine at a restaurant can be expensive and time-consuming, but on Sunday afternoon, these families were able to eat quality food in a loving atmosphere. The laughter and the fellowship spoke for themselves.
