Ways to Share Through Material Gifts Every year, we reach thousands of people with life-giving help. We provide everything from food, toothpaste and laundry soap to Bibles, shoes and cold medicines. These items are given to the homeless and impoverished in our community FREE of charge. That is a major financial investment. To help those in need, we rely on the generosity of individuals, churches, businesses, and civic groups who extend their support through in-kind donations. Each item donated by friends like you frees up dollars that can be used to purchase other general fund needs. We welcome in-kind donations of: Food: We always need fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, cheese, dairy, breads, bottled water and other staples. Personal items: Personal items such as disposable razors, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, bath soap, shampoo and vitamins are needed. Clothing: Baby clothes, men’s clothes, socks and underwear, jeans, coats, work shoes, and tennis shoes are needed in all sizes (especially extra large and tall sizes).
