How are funds for the missionaries dispersed?
The Dream Center Missionary Fund committee approves applications to help determine the status of someone serving at the Dream Center as a missionary. If someone is approved as a missionary, he or she can raise support and receive support through the fund.
The committee approves requests to receive support to cover their costs related to living and serving at the Dream Center. Missionaries can also apply for special needs through appeals made to the committee based upon available resources in the missionary aid fund.
The funds in the Dream Center missionary fund are specifically designated toward covering the costs of the missionary workforce that serves at the Dream Center and facilitating their housing, outreach, basic needs and special needs.
Can I get updates or follow what my Missionary is doing?
Yes, you can follow the missionaries you support online as their stories unfold and the lives they are changing get impacted. We will do our best to get you stories and updates as often as possible. You will be able to read their thoughts first hand on our blogs throughout their time of service.
I am a Dream Center Missionary or would like information on serving as one, how can I get information on or access this fund?
As much as we would love to support all missionaries, this fund is specifically designated to supporting those called to serve with/at the Dream Center. You must be accepted as a Dream Center missionary to serve God through the Dream Center to be eligible for these funds. The disbursement of these funds is based first and foremost on availability of monies in the fund.
If you are an eligible Dream Center missionary who has already applied for and been approved with missionary status at the Dream Center (contact DC registration for info on this process if you are not already and would like to be considered), and would like to know how you can generate support through this fund for the Dream Center, contact Matt Wheeler at ext. 7100 or the registration office of the Dream Center.
