What is Sammy Sundays?

Sammy Sundays was established by Joshua Bassett and Rita Konopasky in the beginning of June, 2023. Driven by the realization that individuals experiencing homelessness are often overlooked, Sammy Sundays distributes care packages and sandwiches to individuals experiencing homelessness on a weekly basis in hopes to foster friendships and nurture trust. Joshua and his team aim to uplift the spirits of the unhoused, and remind them that they are seen and cherished.
