Angelus Temple, church of the Dream Center
Join us for church services during your stay at Angelus Temple! Walking distance from the Dream Center, Angelus Temple is a Pentecostal Megachurch of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. This historical monument founded by Aimee Semple McPherson in 1923, still reaches thousands of people through the gospel led by Senior Pastor Matthew Barnett.

about the founders
Matthew Barnett founded the Dream Center with his Father, Tommy Barnett in 1994. Starting out with little more than a dream and a bag of groceries, they began by giving out food to those in need on the streets of Los Angeles. Today, the Dream Center impacts over 45,000 people per month and reaches over 20 underserved communities around the city. The Dream Center’s free programs and services empower people to find new hope, accomplish their dreams, and transform their lives.
