Angelenos are experiencing an all-time high inflation rate at 8.5% which has been the highest in a 40-year period. In addition, gas prices continue to skyrocket, grocery costs and other living expenses have escalated, and the cost of rent continues to rise. In fact, Los Angeles has been rated to have 12% higher rent costs than the entire nation’s average.

In addition to the high cost of living, rent in LA has gone up every month so far in 2022. According to Rent Café, an apartment search website, the average rent in Los Angeles is $2,661 per month…

But relief, shelter, and recovery are available through various free programs and resources at the Dream Center. Since 1994, the Los Angeles Dream Center has been answering the call to transform lives and communities through Christ; body, soul and spirit, seeing thousands of lives changed over the years.
